The opening
The first moves of any lines are these:
- e4 e5
- d4 exd4
Main Line Qxd4
White's queen takes the d4 pawn to start the main line.
The last two white moves are white's main options: 8. Bc4 or 8. Qg3

Defending the e4 pawn with 8. f3 allows black to make a great attacking move 8...d5!
